NOTE: THIS IS A FACTORY ASSEMBLED MODULE (NOT A DIY KIT)
Moon Phase from Patching Panda is a stereo 12dB/octave state variable multimode filter utilising powerful imaging techniques to enhance and alter stereo field.
Once you experiment with the Stereo Imager control, the resonance can sound quite distinctive when compared with traditional filters
With 8 different filter combinations – and Span to separate the paired filters – you increase the possibilities to treat your sounds and open them in the stereo field.
Not only are these modes accessible via the central button on the front panel, but you can also switch through them via voltage control by inputting a trigger, gate (or other voltage above the trigger detector threshold) into the Mode input.
Applying audio rate cv to the Stereo Imager or Span control input and sweeping the cutoff (STf) control will create a unique character to the filter.
The resonant peaks can be shifted around the stereo field, every cv input can be modulated up to audio rate frequencies creating a wide palette of sonic combinations.
