In what has been an EXTREMELY busy week, yet more exciting products have hit the shelves – albeit in very limited quantities initially – the Studio Electronics Quadnic and STE. 16 modules.
These are two units that we have been excited about since they were first announced, and seem to be right up Matttech Modular’s alley, being particularly feature-rich – and with the ability to range from simple to extremely complex, all within one module. Actually dying to have a play with both of these…
In summary, the STE. 16 is a Complex Dual Digital LFO with 16 Waveforms, Wide Frequency Range, Onboard FM/ AM and One Shot Mode. Audio rates down to 3.40 cycles anyone? yes please 🙂
The Quadnic is no less impressive, being a Complex Digital VCO Module, and featuring: 4 Independent Oscs, Multiple Processing Modes, Unison Detune, Chord Mode, Drive and Wave Sequencing. 64 different waves? Phase Modulation? Detuned VCO Swarms? Affirmative.
Only very limited quantities initially – some of the first units to hit the UK
